Lightshade Opens Recreational Cannabis Dispensary in Federal Heights

Lightshade, Denver’s premier cannabis dispensary, has opened its eighth location with the addition of a recreational cannabis dispensary in Federal Heights. As part of Lightshade’s corporate and local-level giving initiatives, the Federal Heights dispensary has partnered with neighboring Amazing Grace Community Church in support of its food pantry and bi-monthly meal service that helps those in need.
 
The Federal Heights Lightshade dispensary serves recreational customers 21+ and features premium cannabis products at a great value including flower, edibles, concentrates, topicals, tinctures and accessories. The staff is trained to offer personalized service, educate consumers on responsible use and deliver a superior, tailored customer experience. A Grand Opening celebration for Lightshade’s Federal Heights dispensary will be held the weekend of Dec. 15-17, featuring DJs, giveaways and special promotions, including $15 eighths of select flower strains and $15 grams of select concentrate strains.
 
Cannabis Social Responsibility
Lightshade is the first Colorado dispensary to institute a Cannabis Social Responsibility program. The company supports The Gathering Place, Denver Urban Gardens, Grant Street Reach and other local non-profits, and has a partnership with CDOT for an awareness campaign to prevent driving under the influence.
 
In addition to its Cannabis Social Responsibility initiatives at the corporate level, all Lightshade locations partner with a hyper-local neighborhood non-profit focused on food access.
 
Lightshade has supported Amazing Grace Community Church’s food access initiatives with monthly financial contributions and volunteer hours for the past year, and beginning this month, the Federal Heights dispensary is fully funding the church’s food bank. Recently, Lightshade’s Federal Heights staff volunteered to serve Thanksgiving dinner to those in need alongside others in the community at Amazing Grace Community Church.

All Lightshade locations, including Federal Heights, are also hosting a ‘12 Days of Christmas’ drive from December 13 through December 24 in support of Senior Support Services and The Gathering Place. In exchange for donating goods needed by these non-profits, customers will receive 25% off select products including pre-rolled joints, concentrates and edibles. Lightshade will deliver the goods to non-profits that, in turn, disseminate them to those in need.

The newest Lightshade dispensary is at 9364 Federal Blvd. in Federal Heights. The dispensary is open seven days a week from 8:00 am – 11:45 p.m.
