Book Cultivates Child Learning and Nature Appreciation in Child Play

Author Eartha Powell presents her children’s book entitled “I Don’t Know: Adventures of a Forest Playground” to help parents and guardians teach their children about friendship, obedience, and eco-awareness.

Ralph and his friends—cats, dogs, toads, and everything that is found in nature—have tons of fun adventures in the woods. The book has vivid illustrations of Ralph and his forest friends; it aims to cultivate a love for nature in young readers everywhere.  

Author Eartha Powell gets her inspiration from her children and their pets. “I have always loved sitting with my children and telling them stories with spiritual values and insight,” Eartha Powell says. “My daughter told me when she was very young that I should write down my stories, since she would ask me to tell her the same night-night story over again.” With her book published, Powell is set to entertain both parents and their children with her stories.
