Making sense of one’s faith can be very hard. Revisiting God: A Common Sense Approach to Theism is a book that provides arguments that Christianity coincides with reason and science.
 
Author and pastor Joseph B. Onyango Okello believes that discussions about faith and theology are important. His book points out that some of the best arguments can be taken from what the unbelievers are saying. It also delves with the state of meaningless and why it is predominant with nonbelievers.
 
The book then discusses other evidences to prove that the existence of God and the resurrection of Jesus Christ are not only sensible but also reasonable. Ultimately, Revisiting God argues that belief in God can be proven in both the theoretical and experiential level, and answered prayers are examples.

About the Author
Joseph B. Onyango Okello is a member of the pastoral staff at First United Methodist Church in Oviedo, Florida. Pastor Joseph also teaches ethics and philosophy at Asbury Theological Seminary. He is a holder of an MA and PhD in philosophy from the University of Kentucky. He also earned his master of divinity and MA in church music from Asbury Theological Seminary.
 
Aside from teaching, Pastor Joseph also devotes his time to writing theological books. He has penned several books, including The Case for Miracles: A Defense of God’s Action in the World and The Quest for Truth, which he cowrote with James W. Gustafson.
 
Pastor Joseph and his wife, Sofia, and their son, Sean, currently reside in Oveido, Florida.
