Kelli A. Eggebrecht’s “ABC Our Lady of Guadalupe” Will Be Exhibited at the 2024 London Book Fair

The Christian alphabet book “ABC Our Lady of Guadalupe” by Kelli A. Eggebrecht will be displayed by self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet at the 2024 London Book Fair. The book publishing trade fair will take place at the Olympia London, London, UK, on March 12-14, 2024.

The London Book Fair is a special event for book lovers and sellers. The event is one of the largest book events in the world, second only to Germany’s Frankfurt Book Fair. “ABC Our Lady of Guadalupe” tells the story of Our Lady of Guadalupe’s appearance to Juan Diego. The story is aimed at growing the awareness of an actual event in history. This book is written in a children’s book format. It contains illustrations that keep the readers engaged as they read the story with their parents or guardians.

The book teaches about our living faith in God and HIs miracle. God put the image of the Blessed Virgin Mary as an Aztec Princess on the tilma of the humble peasant, Juan Diego. The miracle of the image occurred nearly 500 years ago. Aztec Indians saw and understood the messages placed on the tilma. The tilma should have disintegrated years ago, but it remains unchanged by time.

Author’s Biography:

Looking back on my life as a wife, mother, grandmother, and retired special education teacher, all of this plays a part in my book making endeavors. With the support of my husband, Dave, I am able to bounce my ideas off him and get his honest critics. I write books for parents to enjoy with their children. Books of faith show Jesus, our Brother and God, our Father in a loving family relationship. We are brothers and sisters; we are God’s children and we are family. With God’s help, we guide and direct our children.

As a parent and a teacher, I saw the struggle for some children to learn to read. Our son, Wesley was that child. He wanted to make books in kindergarten, so we started making up stories. The gift of art was already seen in Wesley’s creativity and illustrations. Please never give up hope when a child struggles to read.

So it was Wesley, who brought digital art into my life. Learning how to use digital art tools from Wesley always gives me great joy. I remember the days of lugging my paints and paper to my college art classes. Lucky for me self-publishing is the modern era of book making. Dave would say, “Kelli, you found your passion.” Writing Christian books is so exciting for me. Sometimes the Holy Spirit will allow me to see something just right or hear something just right, then, I know I am to make a book.

My first book, The Rosary the Bible on a String received an imprimatur on our 38^th wedding anniversary day. The Spanish translation of the book: El Rosario La Biblia en una Cadena received an imprimatur on the feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dec. 12^th. God’s Kingdom Dream for me is to create books. The Mysteries of God’s Heart the Holy Land was another such book. On my pilgrimage to the Holy Land, God gave me my heart’s desire. The pilgrimage was spiritual, meaningful, and fun. I’m only beginning to create a series of ABC books: ABC St. Joseph, ABC Our Father, ABC Gospel of John, ABC God’s People, and ABC Apostles. The sky’s the limit because God and the Bible are full of possibilities.
