SpyZooka Issues Apology and Retraction of Erroneous MyCleanPC Press Release

Boca Raton, FL October 2009 – SpyZooka, after receiving inaccurate information, distributed a press release on August 19, 2009 which erroneously referred to MyCleanPC as a “fake antispyware program.” MyCleanPC is a product of Cyberdefender Corporation and is in fact legitimate software which removes spyware and viruses. SpyZooka would like to sincerely apologize to Cyberdefender Corporation for the distribution of misinformation and for any confusion it caused potential and current clients.

MyCleanPC, created by Cyberdefender Corporation, is legitimate security software designed to remove spyware and viruses of infected systems. Once these security threats are removed, the systems operating speed improves dramatically. Cyberdefender Corporation is a member of the Better Business Bureau and has received recognition from various media outlets including Computerworld which referrers to Cyberdefender as “fast and useful.”

In August of 2009 SpyZooka, a legitimate antispyware program designed by Blue Penguin Software, received inaccurate information regarding the authenticity of MyCleanPC software. On August 19, 2009 SpyZooka issued a misinformed press release referring to MyCleanPC as a “fake antispyware program.” SpyZooka has since learned that MyCleanPC is a legitimate antispyware program and would like to sincerely apologize to Cyberdefender Corporation for the distribution of an ill-informed press release and for any confusion it caused potential and current clients.
