Rebit Names Guneratne Sr. V.P. of Engineering

New Position Focuses on Growing Company’s Product Development Needs

LONGMONT, CO – February 16, 2010 – Rebit™ Inc., the company dedicated to making backup for PC users “ridiculously simple”, today announced that Priyan Guneratne has been named senior vice president of engineering, effective immediately. This new Rebit position was created to focus on product development for the growing company.

Mr. Guneratne brings more than 20 years of engineering and management experience to Rebit, including a strong background with startup companies. Before joining Rebit, he was the co-founder and COO of TFStor Inc. Prior to TFStor, he was vice president of engineering at Copan Systems and served as vice president of engineering and operations at Storage Engine, where he was instrumental in leading the development of several high-end storage products. Guneratne also held engineering management positions at Raytheon and Unisys.
