Alain De Taeye - Founder and CEO of Tele Atlas Joins NemeriX’ Board of Directors

(EMAILWIRE.COM, March 23, 2006) Manno, Switzerland -– NemeriX, a leading fabless semiconductor company specializing in ultra low power RF and base band chipsets and software for GPS and wireless applications, today announced the appointment of Alain De Taeye as member of the Board of Directors.

Mr. De Taeye is currently the CEO of Tele Atlas, a company he co-founded in the mid-80s as a research assistant in the Business School of the University of Ghent Belgium. Tele Atlas is the global leader in digital mapping and geographic content and Mr. De Taeye has led the organization since 1990.

In 1993 Mr. De Taeye created the European Digital Roadmap Association, consisting of Etak (a US mapping company active in the UK), Robert Bosch GmbH (the mapping division for car navigation systems) and Tele Atlas. In 1995 Mr. De Taeye led the merger of the Robert Bosch mapping division into Tele Atlas, and in 2000 Tele Atlas acquired Etak to expand activities in North America.

In 2000 Mr. De Taeye led Tele Atlas to a successful IPO on the Frankfurt stock exchange and in 2005 the company was successfully introduced on the Euronext, Amsterdam’s stock exchange.
