2006 FileMaker Developer Conference Set for Aug. 13-17
New tracks for fundamentals, advanced, and Web developers; Register now to save $200
SANTA CLARA, CA, April 3, 2006 - Registration is now open for the FileMaker Developer Conference, Aug. 13-17, 2006, at the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes Resort in Orlando, Florida, FileMaker, Inc. announced today.
This year’s conference is themed “Bringing FileMaker Solutions to the Web.” It is expected to draw more than 1,200 corporate, education, government, non-profit and independent FileMaker database developers and customers, from more than 30 countries. The conference features more than 60 sessions – the most ever – grouped for the first time into four tracks.
Conference speakers, leading FileMaker experts, will explore the breakthroughs in web integration, ease-of-use, customized solution design and developer productivity using the award-winning FileMaker 8 line of database software.
“The increasing popularity of FileMaker has attracted a new generation of developers that is helping take FileMaker into new solution environments,” said Dominique Goupil, president of FileMaker, Inc. “And most of our developers are looking at how FileMaker’s web capabilities can enhance their competitiveness in delivering best practices for their customers.”
This year’s FileMaker Developer Conference, now entering its 11th year, will include more than 60 sessions divided into four major tracks: Fundamentals Track, Advanced Track, Web Publishing Track, and Workshop Track. In addition to a wide range of technical sessions, the conference will offer a multi-vendor product showcase featuring FileMaker third-party solutions and products, meetings with FileMaker engineers, product managers, and technical support team members, special interest meetings, and the 2006 FileMaker Excellence Awards, along with many other social and networking events. FileMaker President Dominique Goupil will deliver the opening keynote session.
