CBS to Place New Order with Vizrt

Bergen, Norway, April 6, 2006. Vizrt Ltd. (Frankfurt Prime Standard, Oslo Main List: VIZ) announces today that CBS NEWS, a customer of Vizrt since 1997, has replaced their SGI hardware platforms that have been used for operating Vizrt graphics software, with PC based systems and upgraded and expanded software that takes advantage of the new platforms. The transaction is valued at about USD 600,000.

In addition to replacing the 14 systems with new PC based systems and the latest high performance software and newly developed options, CBS NEWS added four additional systems and acquired their first six Viz|Trio CG systems.

The systems are used for CBS NEWS programs throughout the day and special event broadcast from CBS headquarters in New York City.

Once the first user of Vizrt’s software in the US, CBS NEWS now recognized the value in upgrading to new hardware and higher performance software.
