Bergman & Beving acquires additional industrial reseller in Finland

Stockholm, 7 April 2006, Bergman & Beving has, through its subsidiary Ruuska Group Oy (Ruuska Group), concluded an agreement to acquire 100 percent of the shares outstanding in Kainuun Kone ja Laakeri Oy (KKL). KKL conducts reseller operations aimed primarily at industry and the private sector in the Kainuu region. The product areas include roller bearings, tools, personal protection equipment, seals, welding and fastening elements, as well as other industrial consumables. KKL is a partner in the tools chain, Bergman & Beving’s partner chain for industrial resellers. With this acquisition, Ruuska Group’s and the tools chain’s market positions are further strengthened in the Kainuu region and Northern Finland. KKL has annual revenues of approximately MEUR 2.8 and 10 employees.

Closing is expected to take place at the end of April 2006. The acquisition is expected to have a marginally positive effect on Bergman & Beving’s earnings per share during the current financial year.

Bergman & Beving provides the industrial and construction sectors in Northern Europe with tools, industrial consumables and industrial components, and related services. The Group has annual revenues of approximately SEK 5.2 billion and approximately 2,000 employees.
