Northrop Grumman Appoints Earl Sheck Vice President of Military Intelligence Programs

MCLEAN, Va., April 11, 2006 -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) has named Earl Sheck vice president of military intelligence programs for the company’s Information Technology (IT) sector.

As vice president of military intelligence programs, Sheck will lead the IT sector’s market planning, strategy assessments and strategic planning for military intelligence customers, intelligence agencies of the services, and the intelligence components of the combatant commands.

"Earl’s 35 years of experience in naval and other Department of Defense intelligence will provide valuable expertise to the company’s military intelligence programs" said Wood Parker, president of the Northrop Grumman IT sector’s Intelligence Group. "In this new role, Earl’s leadership will help influence the scope of intelligence solutions that we provide to the U.S. military"

Previously, Sheck was director for analysis with the Defense Intelligence Agency providing all-source intelligence support to the Secretary of Defense, Offices of Secretary of Defense, Chairman Joint Chiefs, and Combatant Commanders and Services. He also served as the assistant director of naval intelligence where he was responsible for orchestrating all Navy and national intelligence support to the Chief of Naval Operations/Secretary of the Navy.

Sheck earned a bachelor’s degree in science, government and politics from the University of Maryland.
