SalesInSync Partners with AMG Alerts to Offer Alerting Capabilities

SalesInSync, provider of a leading web-based sales opportunity management system, has teamed with its sister company, AMG Alerts, to offer real-time alerting of salespeople and managers as progress is made through the sales cycle.

"A typical sales lead database may contain thousands of records being worked by a couple of dozen salespeople. However, at any given time, a sales manager is often most interested just a few key opportunities”, explains Dave Burr, Executive Vice President. “Since AMG Alerts is a mass-notification company and has all the infrastructure, we decided to work with them to create a unique set of capabilities for SalesInSync.”

In SalesInSync, salespeople or sales managers put key leads or opportunities on “watch”, and when there is activity on that record, a notification is sent out via e-mail or text. Soon, notifications may also be sent on iPhones and iPads.

“While our view has always been that sales professionals, especially managers, should log into the system to get a handle on their pipeline, we needed a way to elevate information to another level, even if it means going outside of the web interface”, Burr said. “We have had great response to this”
