HP Strengthens Cyber Security Practice to Help Organizations Avoid Increasing Threats

PALO ALTO, Calif., --

HP Enterprise Services today named key leaders to its U.S. Public Sector Cybersecurity Practice, bolstering its strategic direction and helping to deliver solutions that meet the complex needs of U.S. government clients.

Practice leadership now includes U.S. Navy Rear Admiral (Ret.) Betsy Hight as vice president of Cybersecurity Practice. Hight brings deep experience to HP from previously serving as vice director of the Defense Information Systems Agency and deputy commander of Joint Task Force Global Network Operations.

Ed Keegan, U.S. Air Force Colonel (Ret.), will serve as director of Defense Cybersecurity Strategies. Keegan’s defense security experience includes running network operations and security for the North American Aerospace Defense Command and United States Northern Command.

Dr. Tim Gibson will serve as director of Cybersecurity Capability Development. Gibson was formerly program manager for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, where he focused on improving network performance and security, multilevel security solutions for coalition operations and efficiently delivering content to deployed units.

Al Kinney, U.S. Navy Commander (Ret.), will serve as director of Defense Cybersecurity Capabilities. Prior to joining HP, Kinney helped grow a line of cyberwarfare business for the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory and managed relationships between the National Security Agency and Navy commands.
