Eye Shadow Recalled Due to Pseudomonas luteola Contamination

Purity Cosmetics of San Jose, CA is recalling Lot #1B11 of its “100% Pure Cocoa Plum Eye Shadow” due to Pseudomonas luteola contamination. The product was made by Radical Cosmetics—an independent, third party contract laboratory located in New Brunswick, NJ—which is a separate entity from Purity Cosmetics.
 
Approximately 300 units of the eye shadow were distributed to retail stores in CA, FL, NY, IN, TX, IL, OR, MN, VA, OK, PA, NV, and TN.
