Jacksonville, FL September 24, 2012 -- Larry Shealy, a Popular Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and Black Belt Instructor has launched his new book, “The Values Driven Child: Parenting with Purpose” that talks about inculcating moral values and character traits in children by utilizing his effective templates, he has used during his eight years rich experience as a martial arts teacher since 2004.
From childhood itself, it is very important for parents and teachers to make children learn moral values and noble character which would shape their personality and add value to their overall attitude. Keeping this in mind, the author with this book aims at inculcating moral values involving better behavior, good manners, self-confidence, positive attitude and self-reliance in children.
He says: “Our values have been attacked from all angles. We have been fighting a battle and losing. However, our fight in the battle has been non-existent. We have not been on the front end of the action to ‘save our children’, to dig back in, and teach them the way our parents and grandparents taught us.”

In the book, he talks about how the parents can get back to the roots in eradicating bad manners, low morale and self-confidence and negative attitude towards their wards.
