EMSL Expands Materials Testing Capabilities By Adding Micromeritics ASAP 2020 Automatic Micropore and Chemisorption Analyzer

EMSL Analytical, Inc., a full service Materials Testing Laboratory specializing in the characterization of materials has recently announced that they have added a state-of-the-art Micrometrics ASAP 2020 Automatic Micropore and Chemisorption Analyzer at their corporate laboratory facility in Cinnaminson, NJ.  Over the past 30 years, EMSL has been looked at as a leader in the materials testing industry by many because of their diverse state-of-the-art laboratory equipment.
 
This instrument is a high-performance adsorption analyzer that uses the gas sorption technique to generate measurements of BET surface area and pore size and distribution from 3.5 to 5000 angstroms when  used in physical adsorption mode, and also active metal surface area and dispersion when used in chemical adsorption mode. It can be employed with various gases (krypton, argon, nitrogen, helium, hydrogen, carbon monoxide).
 
Surface area and porosity are important physical properties that determine the quality and applicability of many materials.
