Momentive Specialty Chemicals Inc. to Raise Prices in the Americas for Epoxy Resins and Bisphenol A

COLUMBUS, Ohio - - Momentive Specialty Chemicals Inc. (“Momentive Specialty Chemicals” or the “Company”) today announced that it will increase the prices for Epoxy Resins and Bisphenol A in the Americas as listed in the following table. Driven by an increase in key raw materials costs, this price adjustment becomes effective Jan. 15, 2013, or as contracts allow. Momentive account managers will contact customers to discuss this announcement in more detail.

EPON™ Liquid Epoxy Resins: 6 cents per pound
EPON™ Solid Epoxy Resins: 6 cents per pound
EPON™ Specialty Liquid Epoxy Resins: 6 cents per pound
EPON™ Resin Blends: 4 cents per pound
EPON™ Resin Solutions: 4 cents per pound
EPON™ Brominated Resin Solutions: 4 cents per pound
EPON™ High Performance Resins: 4 cents per pound
HELOXY™ Modifiers: 4 cents per pound
