Aeroflot Traffic And Capacity Statistics For November And 11 Months Of 2012
Moscow. – JSC “Aeroflot – Russian Airlines” summed up traffic and capacity statistics for November and 11 months of 2012.
In November 2012 passenger traffic increased by 19.7% against the same period in 2011 and totaled 1,413.0 ths passengers. International passenger traffic rose by 29.2% (+194.0 ths passengers) reaching 858.8 ths passengers. The number of passengers served on domestic lines was 554.2 ths which is 7.4% more (+38.4 ths passengers) compared to the result of November 2011.
Seat load factor in November 2012 rose by 2.1 p.p. compared to November 2011 and reached 75.6%. Revenue load factor rose to 63.0%.
Passenger turnover of the company went up by 23.8% against the same period in 2011 and reached 4,137 mln passenger-kilometers. International passenger turnover totaled 2,938 mln passenger-kilometers which is 32.4% more compared to the same period of 2011. The domestic passenger turnover increased by 6.9% against November 2011 and amounted to 1,199 mln passenger-kilometers.
Aeroflot cargo-mail tonnage totaled 18,026 tonne which is 9.8% more compared to November 2011.
The results for first 11 months of 2012 show that the number of carried passengers increased by 25.3% (+3,287 ths passengers) to become 16,263 ths passengers. The seat load factor totaled 78.3%, exceeding the result of the corresponding period of 2011 by 0.3 p.p. Passenger turnover of Aeroflot was 46,393 mln passenger-kilometers, which represents 20.3% (+7,831 mln pkm) increase compared with the results for 11 months of 2011.
