Popular car hire company in Iceland Glacier Car Rental is preparing for Iceland’s spring season, including adjustments to its car fleet.

As the days slowly get longer in the northern hemisphere, the weather gently becomes milder and springtime approaches. This is a long process for Icelanders as the weather can change swiftly, and even though the first day of summer is technically in April, the temperature can drop below zero until mid-May.

Springtime is a beautiful season to visit Iceland. Witnessing the awakening of the flora after the winter hibernation and seeing the icecaps slowly melt, creating abundance of waterfalls rushing from every hilltop.
