TestAmerica Appoints New Regional Director for Eastern Operations of EMLab P&K

TestAmerica, the leading provider of environmental testing services, announced today the appointment of Dr. Michael Berg as Regional Director for the Eastern Region of EMLab P&K. EMLab P&K, a TestAmerica company, is the leading commercial indoor air quality (IAQ) laboratory in North America.

James E. Hyman, CEO of TestAmerica stated, “Michael has an excellent knowledge of the IAQ industry and has held leadership roles in laboratory operations, which will serve EMLab P&K well in driving our expansion plans in the Eastern Region.”

Dr. Michael Berg joined EMLab P&K in 2005 and held positions as Department Manager and Regional Director. Dr. Berg researched plant pathology and plant genetics as a postdoctoral fellow at Oklahoma State University and worked in fungicide research for BASF Germany. He has published his work in peer reviewed journals and presented at national and international meetings. Dr. Berg also authors technical newsletters in the Environmental Reporter and speaks at workshops and meetings for IAQA and ECA New York. He holds a Ph.D. in Biology from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany.
