Alphaport, Inc. Selected for NASA’s Mentor-Protege Program as Strategic Partner for Small Business

Cleveland, OH August 8, 2013 — Alphaport, Inc., a Cleveland-based provider of aerospace engineering, knowledge management, and training services, announced it has been approved to participate in the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Mentor-Protégé program to help develop NASA’s small business supplier base. The program is widely recognized by the Small Business Administration (SBA), Federal Government, and NASA as an effective means of helping small businesses to support government contracts.
 
This three-year agreement will partner Alphaport with Honeywell Technology Solutions Inc. (“HTSI”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Honeywell International.  As part of this important program, Honeywell will provide mentoring regarding business operations and government contracting.  Alphaport will provide resources and collaborate on new business opportunities that comply with requirements of the Federal Government and SBA. NASA provides administrative support for the program and monitors progress on a biannual basis.
