Respected Colorado-Based Homebuilder, Century Communities, Chosen as a Nationals Award Finalist for its Innovative Home Designs in Lone Tree, Colorado and in San Antonio, Texas

Colorado’s fastest growing, homegrown new homebuilder, Century Communities was recently chosen as a Silver Award winner in The Nationals, the annual builder awards sponsored by the Sales and Marketing Council of the National Association of Home Builders, for its eye-catching home models at Montecito at RidgeGate, the master-planned neighborhood in Lone Tree.

Meanwhile, Century Communities’ Texas affiliate, Jimmy Jacobs Homes won a Nationals Silver Award for its new home designs at The Canyons at Scenic Loop, in San Antonio.  Both Century Communities entities vied against five other builders in their categories for 2014 Gold Awards at The Nationals that were announced before a crowd of 600 builder professionals at the 2014 International Builders Show in Las Vegas.

Century Communities and its interior designer, Kimberly Timmons Interiors were up for the award recognizing ‘Best Interior Merchandising of a Model 3,000-to-4,000 Sq. Ft.,’ for their decorating and merchandising of Plan 7945 model at Montecito.  “This neighborhood was one of the biggest successes in the entire Rocky Mountain region in 2013,” said Mike Davidson, Century’s Director of Marketing.

Last fall, Century Community’s luxury villa-styled single-family models at Montecito won the MAME Award for ‘Neighborhood of the Year’ for the entire Denver metro area.  Prices range from $509,950 to the $700s, for a neighborhood offering easy access to surrounding trails, to Lone Tree’s world-class recreation center and Performing Arts Center, and to Sky Ridge Medical Center.  The area will offer a Light Rail station into downtown Denver within a half mile, as Light Rail undergoes planned expansions in coming years.
