Meridian Ranch Community in Falcon Colorado Celebrates Recent Unveiling of New Falcon Regional Park

Recently, El Paso County Parks hosted a grand opening to the public at the newly developed Falcon Regional Park and invited families and residents of the Meridian Ranch new home and golf course community to celebrate the completion of Phase One of the 215-acre Regional Park development located at 10990 Eastonville Road, Falcon, CO.

The ribbon cutting was held at the baseball fields and was followed by a ceremonial first pitch. High Plains Little League had the honor of playing the first official baseball game in the park.

“We’re amazed at how quickly the park development progressed and were thrilled to have our residents come out and celebrate with us,” said Vice President of Marketing for The Techbilt Companies, Jenny Tchang Frost.

The first phase consists of two baseball fields, a multi-purpose field, parking, entry plaza and walkway. Trails, a dog park and more multi-purpose fields are a priority in Phase Two.

At full build-out, the 215-acre park will feature six baseball fields, pavilions, a playground, multipurpose courts, a splash park, a picnic area, a dog park and trails.

“New regional parks do not come along every day,” said Planning Manager for El Paso County, Elaine Kleckner. “They are an important element of the parks and recreation services that El Paso County provides to citizens and visitors.”
