Life often takes a turn for the worst, but it is how we deal with it that makes us better people. This is what author Anthony Da Shaun Halton reminds his readers in his autobiography, “Living My Life with Multiple Sclerosis,” where he relates his journey dealing with the autoimmune disease.

Halton was just nineteen years old when he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, a disease wherein the body’s immune system attacks its own tissues. At the time, he did not know what was going on, but was determined to find out. He was able to understand his condition through reading and asking questions. His resolve to get better was strengthened by his faith in God. He shares his story as a way to reach out to people who are going through the same struggle.

One Amazon customer said that he enjoyed reading the book, and that he understood what the author is going through because his daughter also had multiple sclerosis. He ended by saying that the book is about “God, faith, endurance, love, and family.” Another Amazon customer felt proud of the author for being able to overcome his illness and determined not to allow it to defeat him.

“Living My Life with Multiple Sclerosis” is one of the books featured at LitFire Publishing’s booth at the prestigious 2017 Frankfurt Book Fair from October 11 to 15, 2017. The fair is an annual gathering of authors and industry professionals in the field of publishing and marketing from all over the world.
