New luxury guided hiking tour to Perthshire, Argyll and the Isles, Scotland
About Argyll Walking Holidays has reacted to increased demand from clients by introducing a 10-day luxury guided hiking tour to their existing range of guided walking holidays.
We are delighted to be offering this new tour, giving participants a fantastic opportunity to explore Perthshire, Argyll and a number of Scottish isles on foot with one of our experienced and knowledgeable guides, learning about the history, geology and wildlife along the way. We expect it will provide a memorable and unique experience.
2019 will see the addition of a guided walk to explore Perthshire, Argyll and the isles of Kerrera, Mull and Ulva. The holiday starts in Perthshire in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. During the day hikers will experience the beauty of the Highlands and after their day out they will return to their country house hotel, enjoy a good meal and go to sleep in 4-star comfort.
The next part of the tour is in Argyll in the west Highlands, where the group will enjoy spectacular coastal walks and stay overnight in Oban. The walks will take them into Glen Coe, to the extensive archaeological sites in Kilmartin Glen and on the isle of Kerrera.
The final three nights are spent in Tobermory on the Isle of Mull with walks on Mull and the Isle of Ulva. The tour finishes with a wonderful boat trip to the Isles of Staffa, famous for its basalt columns and Lunga, even more famous for its puffins.
