Technological innovation, key to successfully solidifying more strategic partnerships: Carlos Treviño

The CEO of Petróleos Mexicanos, Carlos Treviño Medina, partook in a series of meetings with high-ranking business leaders from around the world at the 2018 Microsoft CEO Summit in Seattle, Washington.

At this forum, Treviño Medina had the opportunity to learn about the advances in technology innovation and digital transformation that are being adopted by big businesses to optimize their growth.

The Pemex CEO attended the talk delivered by founder of Microsoft and host of the event, Bill Gates, who talked about the schematics meant to optimize technological processes. Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella, also partook in this event.

During his participation in a workshop, Treviño Medina commented that competition and innovation are the key factors that Pemex is taking into account to successfully consolidate strategic partnerships with the sector’s largest companies.

Treviño added that to attract investments and to consolidate new businesses, Pemex is dedicated to assuring confidence throughout its entire chain of value with the purpose of benefitting from the opportunities created through the Energy Reform.

The 2018 Microsoft CEO Summit is a space where leaders of businesses worldwide discuss the macro tendencies at the intersection of business and technology. More than 350 high-ranking leaders from various sectors attended the event.
