National Museum of African American History and Culture To Offer Timed-Entry Passes for October Wednesday, July 11
Following Walk-Up Weekdays in September, the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture has announced the release of advance timed-entry passes for October 2018 to be distributed Wednesday, July 11, at 9 a.m. EDT. Advance timed-entry passes are issued on the first Wednesday of each month. Due to the Independence Day holiday, the release of timed-entry passes for October was postponed to the following week. The museum will continue to offer same-day options for museum entry:
- Same-Day Online: Same-day timed-entry passes are available online beginning at 6:30 a.m. EDT daily until they run out. Visitors may obtain up to four (4) same-day passes per order. Same-day passes are not available via phone.
- Walk-Up Passes: A limited number of walk-up passes are available starting at 1 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Madison Drive entry to the museum. No walk-up passes will be available on weekends due to high visitation. More information on how to obtain passes can be found at www.nmaahc.si.edu/visit/passes.
