Paving the way for global leadership in digital radiology, Trixell launches Trixell Medical Devices (Shanghai) Co. Ltd in China

With a population of over 1.3 billion people, China is one of the largest and most complex healthcare markets in the world. Its pace of technology adoption is increasing exponentially especially with the need to treat such a large throughput of patients. As a result, the drive towards digital radiology in China is a priority for health professionals.

To respond to this demand, Trixell, the Joint Venture between Thales, Philips and Siemens Healthineers*, has launched its newest subsidiary in China: Trixell Medical Devices (Shanghai) Co. Ltd.

Trixell is a pioneer in medical radiology and flat panel detectors for X-Ray machines, and an early adopter of digital technologies. Whilst marketed globally, these detectors meet the unique needs of Chinese health practitioners by ensuring diagnostic X-Rays are done quickly and efficiently, whilst offering the long-term expertise developed by Trixell.

Trixell Medical Devices (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. will benefit from Thales’s strong footprint developed over a decade-long history in China. Its production facility will be hosted at the Thales site in Shanghai. Activity will include the technical support, repair and production of flat panel detectors.
