Barnyard pandemonium in E. Dorinda Shelley’s “Helium Heels”
The children’s book writer delivers a story that is as fun and hilarious as the previous titles in The Helium Books series.
The farm animals again find themselves in another hilarious situation.
Created by E. Dorinda Shelley and Eleanor A. Hutton, the same talented writer and illustrator combo from “The Helium Table” and “The Helium Egg,” “Helium Heels” features Little Black Hen’s ghost babies. Like most little children, they are up to mischief in the barn, much to the exasperation of Little Black Hen.
The ghost babies soon come upon the donkeys, whom they find sleeping. Not wanting to waste a perfect opportunity for a prank, they paint the donkeys’ hoofs with helium red paint. What happens next is pandemonium.
