A Relevant Children’s Book for Today’s Generation – On Display in the 2019 Bologna Children’s Book Fair

Readers can expect author Judith G. Abernethy’ children’s book, “Where Is Pete?”, on the shelves of the 2019 Bologna Children’s Book Fair, happening from April 1-4 (Monday-Wednesday: 9:00am-6:30pm; Thursday: 9:00am-3:00pm), at BolognaFiere, halls.

Abernethy’s “Where Is Pete?” has been received in the literary industry with compliments because of its content relevance to this era—shocking reports of missing children.

The book tells a story of a small family who have gone picnicking while Pete roams around, as little children often do. His family thinks he is merely playing games until they find out Pete is really missing. The story, however, has a happy ending unlike the real cases of missing children.

Abernethy’s life work consists of what-to-dos whenever children get lost. Moreover, her book encourages children to appreciate nature and, too, shows that the love of a family is the strongest compass there is to finding a beloved one.
