Most Christian believers accept the concept of the trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. However, many saints and church leaders have acknowledged that of the three Persons, the Holy Spirit is most forgotten and misunderstood. Even devout Christians are sometimes not quite sure who he is, what he does or what to believe about him.

In “I Believe in the Holy Spirit?” author Arthur Deegan offers a guide for the unsure.

Deegan shares a list of the Holy Spirit’s attributes, describing in detail the work of the Holy Spirit as creator of life, as consoler and as protector of the church. Deegan encourages the reader to take comfort in the Spirit’s presence, recognizing that Jesus sent the Spirit as “another friend” to his followers.

With this work, Deegan’s fourth book, he aims to help individuals and bible study groups to see more clearly what the Spirit means for their daily life.
