Land of the Giants — a narrative podcast from Recode and the Vox Media Podcast Network — returns with The Netflix Effect. The seven episode season will explore how Netflix disrupted Hollywood, changed the way we watch TV and film, and how the company is preparing for the dramatic changes to streaming and personal entertainment ahead. Hosted by Recode senior correspondent Peter Kafka (@pkafka) and senior data reporter Rani Molla (@ranimolla), Land of the Giants: The Netflix Effect will cover the streaming giant with a level of depth and access no other podcast has. New episodes of the show will publish weekly on Tuesday mornings.

Land of the Giants is a narrative podcast about the five technology giants — Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, and Google, or FAANG — and how they dominate our lives, for better or for worse.
