Resolution Games Named to Fast Company’s Annual List of the World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies for 2022

Resolution Games has been named to Fast Company’s prestigious annual list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies for 2022. 

This year’s list honors businesses that are making the biggest impact on their industries and culture as a whole—ultimately thriving in today’s ever-changing world. These companies are creating the future today with some of the most inspiring accomplishments of the 21st century. In addition to the World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies, 528 organizations are recognized across 52 categories.

During the last seven years, Resolution Games has been the leader in innovating what games can be, especially when it comes to VR and AR. Following a string of successful VR hits that include Demeo, Blaston, Acron: Attack of the Squirrels! and Cook-Out: A Sandwich Tale, the company is preparing for its next innovative first on April 7 with the release of Demeo: PC Edition, the first time a VR hit has been rebuilt from the ground up for desktop gamers. 

Resolution Games is also committed to growing the market for AR gaming experiences and has recently launched a dedicated augmented reality division that will build on the company’s existing AR milestones. Resolution Games was the first third-party developer to launch a game on Magic Leap with Angry Birds FPS: First Person Slingshot, the first to launch a passthrough play gaming experience in the Meta Quest store in Blaston, and continues to see success with mobile AR titles. The company has several AR prototypes underway that it hopes to unveil in the coming year. 

Whether it’s launching the first cross-platform party game to connect players across VR and mobile devices with Acron: Attack of the Squirrels! or bringing friends together for a truly authentic tabletop RPG experience in Demeo, a familiar theme runs through Resolution Games’ releases: games that foster social connections are key. The studio will continue to innovate on this front with new titles currently in development including Ultimechs (releasing later this year), new content for existing IP, and further expansion of its AR division.
