Navajo Express Professional Driver Honored at the Colorado Motor Carriers Association 2022 Safety Awards

The Colorado Motor Carrier Association (CMCA) hosted their annual Safety Awards Banquet April 8, 2022 in Denver, Colorado. The awards program recognizes Colorado companies, drivers and safety professionals who show dedication towards highway safety practices and procedures.
Navajo driver, Jeffrey Sanders was awarded with the esteemed Long Haul Driver of the Month Award. Awarded drivers are chosen not only on their safe driving records, but for their professionalism on the highway.
Sanders has been with Navajo over twenty years and driving for thirty-two years. He has driven close to three million safe miles as an over the road driver for Navajo. Sanders frequently hauls protein loads to the east coast and then comes back to Denver.
Sanders has been on his driver’s leader board for 17 years and she quotes that Sanders is nothing short of, “professional, accountable and a family man”. He has two daughters and his wife, Diane, was able to join the celebration at the safety banquet.
