Liftoff Announces Appointment of Jeremy Bondy as CEO

Liftoff, one of the world’s largest independent and privacy-friendly platforms fueling the entire mobile app growth cycle across user acquisition, engagement, monetization, and analytics, today announced that Jeremy Bondy, who served as President of Liftoff since October 2021, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. He succeeds co-founder Mark Ellis, who will continue to support the company in an advisory role.

The leadership transition builds on Liftoff’s continued momentum and growth strategy, following its merger with Vungle in October 2021 and prior majority investments in both companies from private equity funds managed by Blackstone (“Blackstone”).

Prior to the merger, Bondy served as CEO of Vungle, where he transformed the company into an industry leader in in-app ad experiences. His contributions included spearheading growth through the acquisitions of Jetfuel, GameRefinery, Algolift, and TreSensa – helping to establish the business’ leading position across multiple mobile app growth verticals. He also grew the company’s global commercial organization in key markets around the world, including Berlin, London, Beijing, Seoul, Singapore, Tokyo, New York, and Los Angeles. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Jeremy held several senior roles at the company, including Chief Operating Officer.
