Knowledge Management Platform Lynk Hires New Head of Partnerships as Company Continues Global Expansion

Alastair Coutts will leverage over two decades of experience contributing to the development and success of businesses across the EMEA region

NEW YORK – WEBWIRE

Lynk, an AI-driven knowledge management platform, today announced that Alastair Coutts has been appointed as the company’s Head of Partnerships across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In the new role, Coutts will oversee and execute strategic partnerships with leading corporate and professional services firms to drive long-term value for Lynk.

Coutts comes to Lynk with 25 years of experience identifying and commercializing revenue opportunities for global businesses. Throughout that timeframe, he has worked to accelerate growth and scale operations in B2B platform and investment banking businesses across SaaS and financial services.

“I’ve spent an extensive amount of time in the information services  and I’m well aware of how the industry is evolving, both from a competitive standpoint, but also in terms of the product needs of key customer segments,” Coutts said.

Coutts most recently occupied the role of Co-Chief Executive Officer and Head of Revenue at PanicGuard Limited, a tech-enabled personal safety platform. Prior to that, Coutts worked as the Managing Director at GLG, a B2B platform connecting professionals with enterprises. During his tenure at GLG, Coutts expanded the company’s EMEA presence across over 15 countries, including new offices in France, Germany and the United Arab Emirates.

“Alastair’s record speaks for itself, and I’m thrilled to have him join the team,” Peggy Choi, founder and CEO of Lynk, said. “We’re continuing to deliver best-in-class solutions to our customers across the EMEA region and he’s very well qualified to support us in doing so.”

Coutts’ goals for the EMEA region include building a substantial revenue base and establishing regional partners to assist with Lynk’s broader business model.

“I was greatly attracted by the vision, energy and talent already in place at Lynk,” Coutts continued. “Thanks to Peggy’s leadership, those qualities are present across every aspect of the organization.”

Coutts was also excited by the company’s latest SaaS offering, Lynk Circle, a private, secure and customizable people network for asynchronous knowledge sharing. Enterprises rely on the SaaS offering to organize their customer advisory networks, while private equity and venture capital firms use the platform to provide portfolio companies with proprietary advisor networks.

“With its Circle offering, Lynk is building a product that has the potential to redefine how knowledge networks can be harnessed and managed,” Coutts said. “It’s more open, configurable and proprietary  compared to traditional formal and informal networks.”
