Author

Mackenzy Samedi aka “Mackenzy The Poet” is an author and a poet. He was born in Cabaret, Ouest, Haiti. His nationality is Haitian American. He graduated from Rahway High School in June 2007 with a class rank of 28 out of 256 with a 3.30 GPA.

Mackenzy graduated from Lincoln Technical Institute located in Edison, New Jersey as a Medical Assistant in April 2013 with Perfect Attendance with a 3.34 GPA. He continued his education at Ultimate Medical Academy in Tampa, Florida as a Medical Administrative Assistant in April 2015 with a 3.38 GPA.

He continued on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and graduated from Kean University in Union, New Jersey, in January 2018. On August 21, 2019, Mackenzy completed graduate school at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, with a Master of Science in Mental Health and Wellness in August 2019 with a 3.24 GPA.
