An exceptional private collection of fine wines with a strong emphasis on some of Burgundy’s most highly regarded Domaines is being offered in a one-off sale at Bonhams New Bond Street on Thursday 15 December. It is led by a case of Musigny 1996, Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier estimated at £30,000-38,000.

Other highlights of the sale, which consists of 94 lots, include:

• Three magnums of Musigny, Vieilles Vignes 2005, Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé. Estimate £2,200-2,800 each.

• Two cases of 6 bottles of Musigny Blanc 2015, Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé. Estimate £5,500-6,000 each.

• A dozen bottles of Mazis-Chambertin 2012, Domaine Dugat-Py. Estimate: £6,000-7,000.

• Six magnums of Clos de la Roche, Vieilles Vignes 2012, Domaine Ponsot. Estimate: £3,200-3,800.

The sale also offers several vintages of dessert wines including two cases of Château d’Yquem 1995. Estimate: £2,200-2,800 each.
