Horseshoe Las Vegas to Welcome Guests
The return of the The Horseshoe Las Vegas, covered by This Week in Gambling in their latest weekly gambling news video, looks at new amenities.
The Horseshoe Las Vegas makes a return this week, as Caesars Entertainment has completed the re-branded its Bally’s Casino property. The popular resort on the Vegas Strip is at the end of several months of renovations that includes new restaurants, poker room, sports book, and video game arcade.
The original Binion’s Horseshoe welcomed guests in downtown Las Vegas on Fremont Street. That location, originally owned by Benny Binion and later managed by his son Jack, last welcomed guests in 2004. The Horseshoe name was purchased by Harrah’s, which is now Caesars Entertainment, who retained the rights to the Horseshoe name.
The new Horseshoe Las Vegas features the new Jack Binion Steakhouse, in homage to the former owners. The location boasts world class drinks, deserts, and an 1800 degree double broiler for steaks cooked to perfection. There is also a brand new 7,000 square foot all-ages video game arcade that boasts over 80 video games, ranging from classic hits to the newest offerings.
The new Horseshoe Las Vegas would not be complete, however, without their redesigned WSOP Hall of Fame Poker Room. The Horseshoe name has traditionally had a close relationship with poker, and the new room has 19 tables, cash games, and daily tournaments. Caesars has also remodeled their sports betting facilities as part of the transition.
In addition to the interior changes, guests and visitors will notice the changes from the outside of the building as well. New colors and signage are going up to welcome them to the new Horseshoe Las Vegas, and may have some asking what happened to Bally’s. This Week in Gambling covers all these things and more, with photos and snapshots of the changes in their video. They also share what’s going on in Las Vegas for New Year’s Eve.
