“Know more about the origin of various plant fossils found in the central Appalachian region and Southwestern Virginia.”

Scientists, geologists, and fossil collectors will be pleased to meet author Thomas F. McLoughlin at his book signing session at the 2023 LibLearnX: The Library Learning Experience on January 28, 2023, 3:00 pm at booth # 337 at New Orleans N. Morial Convention Center, New Orleans, Louisiana. The author will sign his copies of his informative book, “Atlas Of Pennsylvanian (Carboniferous) Age Plant Fossils of the Central Appalachian Coalfields: Volume 2.”

“Atlas Of Pennsylvanian (Carboniferous) Age Plant Fossils of the Central Appalachian Coalfields” provides detailed and accurate illustrations of various fossil plants. The title that was published prior to Atlas Vol 2 “A Guide to Pennsylvanian (Carboniferous) Age Plant Fossils of Southwest Virginia” was printed as a field guide to plant fossils and a few fossil marine organisms found in close association with the coal measures in Southwestern Virginia.

Readers will be introduced to a wide variety of fossil plants that are sorted according to their groups and geographical location. Readers will be provided with facts, actual photographs, and clear illustrations of each type of plant fossil. In this way, they will have a clearer understanding and in-depth knowledge of the fossils found in coal mines.

This book also serves as a reference for more advanced collectors.

The 2023 LibLearnX: The Library Learning Experience will run on January 27 through 30, 2023.

Copies of this book and two other titles are available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and ReadersMagnet bookstore.
