Northwest Pipe Wins $6.5 Million Order From J.W. Fowler

Northwest Pipe Company (NASDAQ: NWPX) reported today that it was named as pipe supplier to J.W. Fowler of Dallas, Oregon for the San Diego County Water Authority.

The Company will supply approximately 12,000 feet of 93-inch diameter steel pipe valued at approximately $6.5 million for an engineered and custom fabricated piping system to be installed in the Relining Paint Mountain Vent to Del Dios Highway Spec 565 project. The pipe is expected to be manufactured in the Company’s Adelanto, California division, with delivery scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2007.
