Hume’s Chart-Topping Virtual Artist angelbaby Drops New Single Featuring Grimes’ AI-Generated Voice

Following Grimes’ all-call on Twitter for AI-generated songs using her voice, chart-topping virtual artist angelbaby dropped a new single on Sound.xyz. Titled “I’m Fine”, the song explores the emotions we feel grappling with AI taking over the world - the excitement, the fear, and the uncertainty.

Hume has also launched the song as a Music NFT, splitting 50% of the profits with Grimes.

angelbaby is the first in Hume’s roster of virtual artists. Over the last year, angelbaby has captivated its audience at Art Basel, Fluf Haus LA, and SXSW, with their NFTs and music rising to the #1 position on SoundXYZ, OpenSea and Audius.

Contributors to the song include angelbaby; singer/songwriter and Hume cofounder Jay Stolar, who has worked with major artists like Selena Gomez, G-Eazy, and Demi Lovato; The song also features budding virtual artist WesGhost. Hume worked in partnership with Controlla Voice to hone the Grimes AI voice model.

This single drop comes on the heels of Hume announcing they signed with leading entertainment and sports agency, Creative Artists Agency (CAA). CAA is helping Hume identify and create opportunities across a variety of areas, including licensing and merchandising, brand partnerships, live events, film, television and more.
