About the Author
Merle Potter was raised on a farm with no electricity until he was 8. He experienced everything in this children’s book, and more. He liked a girl in school and took most of the courses she took, which were college prep courses. His band teacher told him he should go to college so he did. He even earned a PhD degree and was a university professor for his career. He enjoyed writing and wrote about 35 engineering related exam-review books and textbooks and two children’s books. He enjoyed an exciting career.
Rosemary Potter, Merle’s sister-in-law, helped him in the writing of this book; she married his preacher brother. They raised six children so she was a good helper with what interests children.
