Roger A. Pierce graduated from Long Beach State University with a Bachelor of Science in computer information systems in May 1993. He has over twenty years in the information technology industry, including consulting. Roger also received the Employee of the Month and Productivity and Quality Awards from his former employer and LA County Commissioner for designing a clinical laboratory billing system software program regenerating 1.6 million in lost revenue for an LA County Medical Center. He is a small business owner providing Information Technology consulting and procurement services to local and state government entities and medical insurance to small businesses and Medicare beneficiaries.

He is married with two adult children and resides in Southern California. Before living in Southern California, Roger was born in Newark, New Jersey, and raised in Saginaw, Michigan, where he graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1982.
