Glenda Stroud-Peace, a native Floridian, is a descendant of Alabama Wiregrass pioneers. Before her retirement, she was an adult education teacher in the Anti-Poverty Program in Alabama and on the Big Cypress Seminole Indian Reservation in Florida; taught English at the community college level; worked as a newspaper reporter; and held a number of clerical and administrative positions in Florida, North Carolina, and Georgia. She now resides in Virginia.
