“The question ‘Are we living in a simulation?’ has been made a hot topic by Elon Musk, yet none in the flurry of papers so far has seriously tried to tackle the thorny question of proof, referring only to ‘glitches’ in a handwaving manner.

“Episode 8 tries to address the following proposition: if you were in a simulation, and you only had basic tools at your disposal, how could you go about proving it?”

This episode is set on Titan, the moon of Saturn. Why did Venne choose this setting? “Carbon is the bedrock of life on Earth, and Titan is hydrocarbon heaven. It must be one of the most interesting places in our Solar System.”
