About the Author
Born in Seattle Wash and raised on an island in Silver Lake Wash, Author Captain David Belding sought the adventures at sea and joined the Merchant Marines where he earned the sea hours to get a 6 pack captain license from the cost guard. Further into his adventures, he decided to also travel around on land, especially in Europe where he stayed for three months, then went to Alaska where he worked the pipeline for another three years. He then moved on a barge off the Santa Barbara coast raising Abalone.
Author Belding shared his love for adventure with his family and set sail for a round-the-world cruise with his wife Sherrie. They lived on a sail boat for five years, and are now back in Washington State at Long Beach for the summers, and Earp California in the winters. Author Belding enjoys playing upright Bass and loves going to music jams.
