“The Daily News Report Ballad II” by M. Sherman-Roberts Was Showcased at the 2023 Printers Row Lit Fest

The children’s book “The Daily News Report Ballad II: The Derby Legacy” by M. Sherman-Roberts was exhibited by the self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet at the 2023 Printers Row Lit Fest. The book fair was held at Printers Row Park, South Loop, Chicago, Illinois, last September 9-10, 2023.

The book has illustrations in which the kids can see what is happening in the story. They will first be introduced to Caleb Kennedy III and learn how he presents his life experiences to his classmates.

The author aims to help young readers boost their morale and confidence when it comes to public speaking and create a stronger bond with peers. This book also helps the parents bond with their kids as they can share the story together.

Author’s Biography
M. Sherman-Roberts is a former substitute teacher in the Oakland County Schools. She is semi-retired and resides in Farmington Hills, Michigan. She received her college degree from Tougaloo College and her MA degree from Central Michigan University. Ms Sherman-Roberts enjoys traveling, acting, writing, and reading children books aloud.

She is married, and has one adult son. She is the author of two children’s ballads from the The Daily News Report, The Amazing Chocolate Chip Cookie and The Derby Legacy.
