Author’s Biography

Kashia Yang was born in Laos and moved to refugee camp in Thailand as a young girl. She came to the US with her uncle and settled in Lenoir, North Carolina. She relocated to California, got married, and became a mother to six children. Kashia’s family decided to move back to North Carolina and currently residing in Conover. As a mother to her young children, her passion was to share Bible Stories to them. Now that her children are grown and she became a grandmother, she feels more inspire to share Bible Stories through a simple, easy to understand language, with colorful illustrations that children can identify.

Even while Kashia was working full time and raising her children, she rejoiced in serving the Lord alongside her husband as a pastor’s wife. Kashia completed her study of General Bible Course at Liberty University and obtained her PhD in Christian Ministry from College of The Open Bible. She has volunteered her time teaching and assisting with children’s Sunday school programs for over twenty-five years. Kashia enjoy spending time with her family and taking care of her grandchildren.
