Rita Leonty-Favreau’s Cautionary Christian Novel About Misusing Scripture Soon to Exhibit at the 2023 Frankfurt Book Fair
One of the largest book fairs in Europe is about to kick off, bringing together thousands of publishers representing many recently published authors. Among the ones representing Christian voices is Rita Leonty-Favreau, who has decided to exhibit her book, “Greater Love Has No Man,” a book with a cautious message about appropriating the words of faith with less than faithful intentions.
“In the process of time, the convenient cloak of philosophy wore thin and the humiliation of their humble circumstances began to wear on Courtney…”
In just a matter of days, the city of Frankfurt, Germany, will be hosting the Frankfurt Book Fair (Frankfurter Buchmesse) 2023, a massive gathering of international publishers and its thousands of accompanying book exhibits. Many of these will be featuring newly published authors with a variety of stark, compelling, and dramatic messages.
For Christian author Rita Leonty-Favreau, the drama is but an instrument to teach a grave lesson about her faith.
She shows it all in her book, “Greater Love Has No Man.” The story focuses on a man named Courtney Willard, along with this wife, Kayleigh. The pair are married sweethearts who initially reject the pursuit of higher living, believing that affection and passion are enough to see them through the troubles of this world.
Courtney, however, turns out to be simply more of a philosophical-yet-still-worldly sort of man. There comes a point where he soon finds himself increasingly dissatisfied with his lot and life. Being an avowed atheist, however, he would sooner find opportunity in attacking and turning the words from Scripture unto itself rather than live righteously.
Eventually though, he soon finds that his deliberate misunderstanding and mishandling of God’s Word engineers an outcome different from what he envisioned.
Visitors to the Frankfurt Book Fair (Frankfurter Buchmesse) 2023 will get a chance to see how Courtney’s journey of discontent, disaster, and, ultimately, redemption plays out when “Greater Love Has No Man” is displayed at the self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet’s exhibit at the book fair. The event will kick off on October 18-22, 2023, at the Frankfurt Trade Fair grounds, Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage 1, 60327 Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
